Today, on the sixth day of our initiation, and hereby proceeding on the same grounds, we students, again boycotted the classes.
Though, we students have been boycotting the academics yet we do not take back our stand on architectural/ creative efforts. For the same, we involved ourselves in caricature art, write-ups etc. that can be viewed ,as our "creative endeavours" tab in the same blog.In addition of the same, one of our students’ team is involved in architectural documentation competition funded by UNESCO
(documentation of the IMAMBARA BAULI in architectural detail). Also, our other team has been involved in documentation of all Lucknow’s historical monuments, in order to emphasise its glory, in association with an eminent architect, who is also our college alumni, (Ar.Asheesh Srivastava), for the Architectural Survey Of India,. And in reference to the same, the team also met Dr. Yogesh Praveen, an eminent historian of the city and he gave them, his valuable guidance that is of much importance. Hence it could be brought forth that we as students are not behind in taking over, our duty as custodians of our profession. Thereby, we have been making all endeavors to glorify our city and nation as a social endeavour ,us being students of architecture, even under pressure of fighting for our cause day and night. We won't rest and we won't let our creative spirit die!!!...
I am delighted to see the maturity in your ways. Honesty and persistence has always done wonders. Unable to be physically present, but with you guys always. My wishes.
